Acid-based stains create a chemical reaction with the concrete’s natural minerals. Acid-based stains do not penetrate as deeply as our water-based stains but your floor will remain beautiful for many years to come.
Water-based stains can be layered with different colored stains combined - giving your floor a totally customized look. Water-based stains penetrate deeper than acid stains giving your floor a deeper, richer look and feel without all the chemicals.
